Hot off the Press : Stumptown Coffee Signs

Nicholas (Pinball’s masterful screen print superstar) just wrapped up the printing on another beautiful sign for our friends at Stumptown Coffee Roasters. The lovely artwork from Stateless Design Collective features a charming bird with blue banner, overlapping black and green foliage, and nicely distressed typography. Stay tuned, we should have another sign ready for your viewing pleasure within the week!

Very pretty! What are they printed on? I love the look of line-art over block color. It makes me happy that there are designer folks who don’t automatically go the four-color route with everything and I also love how Portland designers, in particular, figure illustration into commercial/graphic design. What a charming example - making Portland prettier one café at a time.
Oh, boo - I just assumed that Stateless was from PDX, I think I might be wrong.
